Cretaceous of Bauru

The illustration shows part of the arid environment of the Bauru Basin, brazilian Cretaceous. The illustrated fauna includes the sauropods Maxakalisaurus topai (foreground, an adult and a juvenile), Uberabatitan ribeiroi (at left) and Aelosaurus maximus (group, at the right), as well the crocodyliform Baurusuchus salgadoensis.
